Snoopers can hear what you type
The sound of your keyboard could divulge your e-mail secrets.
Think your e-mail messages are secret when they're out of sight? Researchers reveal that eavesdroppers can decipher your messages just by listening to the sound of your keyboard.
In a paper to be presented at an upcoming meeting on computer security, computer scientist Doug Tygar from the University of California, Berkeley, and his co-workers report how they can analyse the sounds generated by a typist.
