NASA celebrates Discovery's safe return, but shuttle programme still troubled.
After a 14-day mission to the International Space Station, the space shuttle Discovery has landed safely at Edwards Air Force Base in California. news@nature reviews the landing, the mission and the shuttle programme's future.
