SpaceShipOne scoops X prize
Questions remain about future of private space travel.
Space enthusiasts were celebrating around the world today as SpaceShipOne punched into space for the second time in six days, scooping the $10-million Ansari X prize for its Scaled Composites engineering team.
The flight shatters the hopes of more than two dozen other competitors enrolled for the prize for commercial space flight.
