Nuclear treaty 'would improve detection of rogue tests'

Experts counsel against complacency after North Korea blast.

The world's system for detecting clandestine nuclear tests is working, but it could be improved if more countries signed a treaty that proposes outlawing all such weapons testing.

That is the message from nuclear-testing experts in the wake of a mystery blast in North Korea on 9 September, which had led some to fear that the country was detonating nuclear weapons.
