Superheroes make physics fun
Comic books impart common sense and critical thinking.
The fantastic feats of comic-book superheroes are useful for teaching physics, James Kakalios of the University of Minnesota told the American Physical Society meeting in Austin, Texas, last week.
Most students do not see the relevance of physics to their everyday lives.
