Alcohol patch trials planned
Drug could help curb excess drinking.
Cutting back on drinking could be helped by slapping on an 'alcohol patch', say US researchers who are planning trials of a drug to combat alcohol cravings.
The skin patch was originally developed to help people quit smoking.
