Nobel protester wins alternative prize
Stockholm ceremony proceeds despite dispute.
A physician's two-month protest about his exclusion from this year's Nobel prizes is set to climax today - with two awards ceremonies on opposite sides of the Atlantic.
Physicists Paul Lauterbur and Peter Mansfield will tonight receive the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine at a ceremony in Stockholm, Sweden.
