DNA copied with convection
Warm-water conveyor belt mass-produces genetic material.
A new automated process speeds up DNA copying - one of the central processes in genetic analysis and biotechnology.
Convection, the circulation of hot liquids, can drive a chain reaction that makes strands of DNA multiply exponentially fast, show Dieter Braun and colleagues at Rockefeller University in New York1.
