Role of the prolyl isomerase Pin1 in protecting against age-dependent neurodegeneration
Mouse dementia model hints that protein prevents brain degeneration.
A protein called Pin1 may prevent degenerative brain disorders from developing. When it is removed, ageing mice develop symptoms similar to those of Alzheimer's disease, a new study reveals1.
