Maths world abuzz with prime proof

New rule for spacing between consecutive indivisible numbers.

Two mathematicians have formulated a proof that has been described as "possibly the most important advance in prime-number theory since the mid-1960s".

Primes are the whole numbers that can be divided exactly only by themselves and 1.
