Toxic spill threatens Brazilian rivers
Fish, animals and people at risk after caustic soda leak.
A major chemical spill into two of Brazil's rivers has cut off water supply to half a million citizens in three of Brazil's states near Rio de Janeiro.
As authorities scrambled to contain the spill, conservation groups criticized the government for having weak monitoring systems in place.
