Foot and mouth strategy strengthened
Antiviral could cover vaccines' weak spot.
An antiviral drug could avert future foot-and-mouth disease (FMD) epidemics, scientists say1. Combined with vaccination, the drug gives slow-acting vaccines time to kick in.
