Tiny amounts of pollen travel far
Extensive interbreeding between GM and non-GM fields unlikely.
Pollen from non-GM oilseed rape spreads long distances, but only in small amounts, Australian research has found.
The spread of genetically modified pollen should be the same, suggesting that although extensive interbreeding between GM and non-GM fields is unlikely, perfect isolation is probably impossible.
