Ozone hole on the mend?

The Antarctic ozone hole may be sewn up by 2040.

The Antarctic ozone hole may be sewn up as soon as 2040, say Japanese researchers1.

According to their calculations, Antarctic ozone levels will rebound as levels of chlorine and bromine in the atmosphere decline.
