Fishing scars Atlantic reefs
Trawlers threaten cold-water corals thousands of years old.
Fishingtrawlers are smashing ancient coral reefs in cold, deep waters of the Northeast Atlantic, new research suggests. Marine scientists are calling for urgent protection of the unique and poorly understood reefs.
