Protein predictors need start to finish

Given better starter's orders, computers could predict what genes mean.

Figuring out the shape of the proteins encoded by the thousands of genes in every cell may have just got a little easier. Researchers in Switzerland have made a discovery which they say "pushes the simulation of protein folding processes within reach"1.
