Sonic hedgehog regulates adult neural progenitor proliferation in vitro and in vivo

Karen Lai, Brian K. Kaspar, Fred H. Gage & David V. Schaffer
Nat. Neurosci.  6, 21−27 (2003)

During revision, panels were inadvertently exchanged in two figures. In Fig. 4, the panel labeled d should have been e and vice versa. In Fig. 5, the panel labeled b should have been labeled c, and vice versa. The corrected figures appear below.

Figure 4. Shh induction of progenitor proliferation in vivo. Representative images of BrdU (red) and NeuN (green) staining within the dentate gyrus are shown for an animal injected with (d) rAAV-Shh or (e) rAAV-GFP.

Figure 5. Progenitor cell differentiation. Representative images of the granule cell layer in animals injected with (b) AAV-Shh and (c) AAV-GFP, stained for the analysis of BrdU uptake (red) and differentiation into NeuN+ neurons (green).
