Finasteride has little effect on sexual function

Sexual dysfunction in men has been linked with use of the 5-
-reductase inhibitor finasteride. The trials that noted this effect, however, were of short duration. As part of the Prostate Cancer Prevention Trial, Moinpour et al. measured the effect of finasteride on male sexual function over a 7-year period.
