Julius Birnbaum

 

Dr Birnbaum is a Post-doctoral Fellow in the Division of Rheumatology, at the Johns Hopkins University of Medicine in Baltimore, USA. He completed full Residency training in Neurology, prior to pursuing further training in Internal Medicine and Rheumatology. His clinical and research interests focus on neurological manifestations of rheumatic disease. At the Johns Hopkins University of Medicine he has established a clinic in the evaluation of CNS and PNS syndromes occurring in patients with systemic lupus erythematosus, Sjogren's disease, rheumatoid arthritis, and the systemic vasculitidies.

Douglas Kerr

 

Dr Kerr is Head of the Johns Hopkins Transverse Myelitis Center, and Associate Professor in the Department of Neurology, at the Johns Hopkins University of Medicine in Baltimore, USA. His clinical and research interests focus on the use of stem cells as a potential tool for functional recovery in patients with transverse myelitis.
