Jörg HW Distler, MD, is a Fellow at the Department of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at the University Hospital Erlangen, Germany, where he is Head of the clinical scleroderma program and a basic science research group on the molecular mechanisms of systemic sclerosis and animal models of fibrosis. Dr Distler is advisory editor of Arthritis & Rheumatism.
Marius M Hoeper
Marius M Hoeper, MD, is Associate Professor of Medicine in the Department of Pneumology at Hanover Medical School, Germany, where he is in charge of the pulmonary hypertension program and Director of the medical intensive care unit. Professor Hoeper is a member of the editorial board of the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, as well as an Associate Editor of the European Respiratory Journal.
Oliver Distler
Oliver Distler, MD, is Lecturer and Consultant in the Department of Rheumatology at the University Hospital Zurich, Switzerland, where he is Head of the outpatient clinic for connective tissue diseases. Dr Distler is Associate Editor of Arthritis & Rheumatism and is an Editorial Board Member of other rheumatology journals. He is also Head of a basic science research group on the molecular mechanisms of fibrosis and vascular manifestations in systemic sclerosis.
