Young patients with multiple myeloma: favorable prognostic factors and better survival

Multiple myeloma is uncommon in young individuals, and the presentation and prognosis of the disease in this population is unknown. Ludwig et al. investigated the features of multiple myeloma in young patients and the outcomes associated with conventional and high-dose therapy in these patients.
