Association of CENP-F expression with poor prognosis in primary breast cancer

Previous studies have shown that upregulation of the centromere protein-F (CENP-F) is associated with poor overall survival in patients with breast cancer. A study by O'Brien et al. has validated previous results in two independent patient cohorts, demonstrating that CENP-F is an indicator of poor outcome in breast cancer.
