Radiotherapy has a role in treating patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma in partial remission

The use of radiotherapy after chemotherapy in patients with Hodgkin's lymphoma is a matter of some debate, but there is evidence to indicate that radiotherapy might improve the outcomes of patients in partial remission (PR) following chemotherapy. To examine the role of radiotherapy in this cohort of patients, Aleman et al. carried out a prospective, randomized trial, enrolling patients with previously untreated stage III–IV Hodgkin's lymphoma.
