Optimal sequencing of adjuvant CT and RT in the management of early breast cancer has been controversial. Since anthracycline-based CT administered concurrently with RT results in unacceptable severe toxicity,1 the universal practice is to administer CT first and RT second. This sequence is unlikely to be changed unless new compelling evidence suggests otherwise.
