Peritubular capillary C4d deposition not linked with graft outcome in late acute rejection
This article has no abstract so we have provided the first paragraph of the full text.
Diffuse peritubular capillary (PTC) deposition of complement degradation component C4d is a marker of acute rejection in the early post-transplantation period and is associated with poor renal graft survival. Satoskar and colleagues have reported that diffuse PTC C4d deposition might not, however, be predictive of poor graft outcome in late acute rejection episodes (i.e. those occurring
1 year after transplantation).
