Serum uric acid levels predict mortality in patients with type 2 diabetes

Ioachimescu et al., using data from the PreCIS (Preventive Cardiology Information System) database, performed a retrospective cohort analysis of 535 consecutive patients with type 2 diabetes to examine the association of serum uric acid levels with all-cause mortality and glycemic control.
