Aneta Gawlik

 

A Gawlik has completed her training in General Pediatrics in 2006 and has started her training in Pediatric Endocrinology. In 2002 she completed her PhD on "Hormonal therapy in girls with Turner's syndrome". She was an active participant of the ESPE (European Society for Paediatric Endocrinology) Winter School in Prague in 2000 as well as the Summer School in Helsinki in 2007. She has also completed a workshop of the post-graduate program in Molecular Biology at the Jagiellonian University, Cracow, Poland. Her clinical and experimental research areas include growth disorders, Turner's syndrome and polycystic ovary syndrome.

Ewa Malecka-Tendera

 

E Malecka-Tendera has been involved in the field of Pediatric Endocrinology since 1976. In 1983 she completed a six-month endocrinology training at the Vanderbilt University in Nashville, USA. She received Board Certification in Endocrinology in 1996. Between 1997 and 2002 she was employed as Associate Professor at the Department of Pathophysiology at the Medical University of Silesia in Katowice, Poland. In 2001 she was awarded the scientific title and position of Professor. She is currently working as Head of the Department of Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes at the Medical University of Silesia. Her research interests include childhood obesity, Turner's syndrome and pubertal disorders.
