The swift development of CT technology has enabled effective delineation of coronary artery anatomy and assessment of atherosclerotic plaques. Concerns have, however, been raised about the long-term consequences of the radiation dose associated with CTCA,1 meaning that the use of this imaging modality is limited to select patients with CAD.2
