Predictors of long-term outcome after tetralogy of Fallot repair

Surgical relief of the right ventricular (RV) outflow tract obstruction in patients with tetralogy of Fallot (TOF) can cause hemodynamic abnormalities that are more likely to manifest during adulthood than during childhood. Knauth et al. used cardiac MRI to follow up adult patients with repaired TOF in order to identify predictors of late major adverse clinical outcomes.
