SL Kobal is Director of the Cardiac Stress Test Unit at Soroka University Medical Center, Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, Beer-Sheva, Israel. His research interests include the use of portable cardiac ultrasound devices for cardiovascular disease screening in areas of the world where access to echocardiography is limited or nonexistent.
