Drug-eluting versus bare-metal stents: long-term outcomes in Sweden

An analysis of data from the Swedish Coronary Angiography and Angioplasty Registry and additional national registries indicates that drug-eluting stents (DESs) result in more deaths than bare-metal stents (BMSs).
