The Polymeal: a dietary approach to cardiovascular disease prevention

Following the controversial idea of the so-called Polypill in 2003, Franco et al. have recently proposed an alternative: the Polymeal. Again, the aim is to reduce cardiovascular disease at the population level, but by use of a specific diet rather than pharmacologic interventions.
