Open access funding
Visit Nature Publishing Group's open access funding page for information about research funders and institutions that provide funding for APCs.
Nature Publishing Group also offers an open access funding support service to make it easier for Nature Publishing Group authors to discover and apply for APC funding. For advice on what funding is available to you, and help in approaching funders and institutions, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
APC waiver policy
Nature Communications offers APC waivers for papers whose corresponding authors are based in HINARI countries (the world's lowest income countries as defined by the World Bank). Discretionary APC waivers for non-HINARI authors will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and may be granted in cases of financial need. All applications for discretionary APC waivers should be made prior to, or at the point of manuscript submission; requests made during the review process or after acceptance will not be considered. To request a waiver please contact email@example.com.
