Chemical biology and the limits of reductionism
Abstract
Anyone following rock and roll music over the last three decades may have faced the challenging and sometimes entertaining task of keeping track of Prince Rogers Nelson. This musician led fans through a complex series of name changes, adopting at various times the names Prince, Jamie Starr, Camille, Christopher Tracey, Madhouse, The Artist Formerly Known as Prince, and even at one point an unpronounceable 'love symbol'.
