Abstract
Nanoparticles measure up F|[ouml]|rster resonance energy transfer (FRET) is a measurement of energy transfer between a donor and an acceptor fluorophore. The distance dependence of the energy transfer has allowed this technique to be used for monitoring biochemical events such as conformational changes and protein-protein interactions.
