Tensin relief facilitates migration

From the morphogenesis of developing embryos to wound healing and tissue renewal, the ability of cells to migrate contributes to a vast multitude of physiological processes. Cell migration is an intrinsically complex process but is one that can be reduced to the reiteration of three successive cycles: cell polarization and lamellipodial extension, traction-driven translocation, and detachment of the trailing edge.
