Nanoclusters digitize Ras signalling
Abstract
Membrane microdomains are local regions of specialized protein and lipid composition, the best known of which include lipid rafts and caveolae. Although models of how microdomains influence cellular functions abound, there is little direct evidence linking specific aspects of microdomain structure to their function.
