Extrinsic Wnt signalling controls the polarity component aPKC
Abstract
Neurons are highly polarized cells that consist of one long axon and multiple dendrites. Information released in the form of a chemical signal by axon terminals is received by the dendrites of another neuron and forwarded to the cell body, where it is integrated before being conveyed to the axon.
