The Crm de la cr|[egrave]|me of mitosis

Mitosis involves a dramatic reorganization of the nucleus, with changes in chromatin structure, assembly of the mitotic spindle and, in many eukaryotic cells, the breakdown of the nuclear envelope. These marked changes are orchestrated by molecules that take a break from their ordinary jobs during interphase and try something different for a while.
