FoxM1 dances with mitosis
Abstract
The mammalian Forkhead Box (Fox) family of transcription factors consists of more than 50 proteins that share homology in the winged helix DNA binding domain. Within this transcription factor family, the FoxM1 protein has been established as a key cell-cycle regulator of both the G1/S phase transition and progression into mitosis.
