Uncoiling centriole duplication

Abstract
In the same way as genetic material in chromosomes, centrosomes must undergo duplication once and only once before each cell division. Moreover, similarly to the pairs of sister chromosomes produced after duplication of the genome, duplicated centrioles are segregated equally to each daughter cell during mitosis.
