New candidates for vesicle coat proteins
Abstract
Trafficking of membrane components between cellular compartments is a highly regulated process that is complicated by the inherent fluidity of membranes. In the secretory pathway, membrane components destined for transport between organelles are collected at exit sites that extend from the organelle of origin.
