PINning down the c-Myc oncoprotein

Over the past two decades, c-Myc has emerged as a key regulator of the fundamental processes that determine cell fate. By activating or repressing the expression of a broad spectrum of target genes, this transcription factor is essential for the proliferation of most cells types.
