Three Yips for Rab recruitment

Rab GTPases constitute the largest branch of the Ras superfamily, with 11 members in yeast and over 60 identified mammalian homologues. They are key for the regulation of many aspects of intracellular membrane trafficking, including vesicle formation, motility, tethering, and membrane fusion in both the endocytic and exocytic pathways; each Rab seems to function in specific membrane transport events.
