Dynein binds to |[beta]|-catenin and may tether microtubules at adherens junctions

Interactions between microtubule and actin networks are thought to be crucial for mechanical and signalling events at the cell cortex. Cytoplasmic dynein has been proposed to mediate many of these interactions.
