Dynein branches out
Abstract
Neurons are highly polarized, compartmentalized cells that both send and receive information. Recent work has demonstrated that differential membrane and organelle traffic occurs to direct material, allowing the neuron to differentiate their specialized dendritic and axonal compartments.
