Antigens taken up into cells by endocytosis are not usually presented on class I MHC molecules to cytotoxic T cells. But there are good reasons to allow professional antigen-presenting cells to do this, and it seems that dendritic cells of the immune system have an efficient mechanism in place for achieving such presentation.
