Close encounters of the LIM-kinase
Abstract
During cell movement, new actin structures are formed, under the orders of the small GTPase Rac. One of Rac|[rsquo]|s orders is to inhibit the depolymerization of existing actin filaments. A chain of events from Rac to the inhibition of actin depolymerization has now been forged.
