Response to Transendothelial movement and caveolae
Abstract
Phil Oh, Per Borgstr|[ouml]|m, Anne Simonson & Jan Schnitzer respond: Our paper describes the use of intravital microscopy to visualize, in real time and within a living animal, caveolae actively pumping a fluorescently labeled probe across the lung endothelium against a concentration gradient. The observations and methods of Heltianu et al. were very different from ours.
