What price personal genome exploration?
Abstract
In August, two Silicon Valley direct-to-consumer (DTC) genome information marketers, Navigenics and 23andMe, won an important round with regulators when officials in California granted them licenses. Earlier, each had received cease-and-desist letters from officials in Sacramento, along with similar orders from regulatory officials in New York.
